Optical Metrology for Tool, Press and Body Shop
The complete 3D digitizing of the actual states of finished and semi-finished products, tools and machines opens up new possibilities for industrial manufacturing processes. Full-field 3D measuring data allows holistic process analyses, such as trend analyses for statistical process control. In addition to the nominal-actual comparison of the data, surface data allows different alignment functions, such as RPS, best-fit and user-specific alignments, and helps accelerating processes.
Full-field digitalization thus forms the basis for “Industry 4.0”. As far as quality assurance is concerned, Industry 4.0. implies the communication and self-control of the individual manufacturing steps within the process chain with self-regulating parameters based on the latest measuring results.
